Delhi: Astrotalk undertook a 14-day winter relief drive across government schools in Delhi-NCR in December 2025. It distributed 31,000 blankets to support school children and their families during the peak winter season.
The initiative was implemented across multiple locations, with active on-the-ground participation from Astrotalk employees, who were directly involved in the distribution efforts to ensure timely support reached beneficiaries.
Commenting on the initiative, Anmol Jain, Co-founder, Astrotalk, said, “Winters can be especially harsh for families with limited access to essentials. Through this initiative, we aim to provide timely support to school children and their families during the winter season. Our employees were proud to step out and contribute directly on the ground.”
The initiative came amid cold wave-like conditions in the Delhi-NCR region, with temperatures dropping sharply, and dense fog affected the early morning hours. Such weather conditions significantly increased health risks for children, particularly those from economically vulnerable communities.
“My special thanks to Amitabh bhai from Yuva
Unstoppable NGO for supporting and guiding us in implementing this initiative on the ground. Their team played a crucial role in identifying beneficiaries and enabling the distribution of thousands of blankets within just two weeks,” said Puneet Gupta, Founder & CEO, Astrotalk.
Yuva Unstoppable supported the drive by facilitating last-mile distribution and monitoring implementation across participating schools, ensuring the blankets reach children and their families effectively.
This winter relief effort is part of Astrotalk’s broader commitment to community welfare and social responsibility, focused on addressing immediate needs and creating meaningful, on-ground impact through employee-led initiatives.
