Theatre for a Cause Starts ‘TFAC CHALLENGE’ to Feed Lower Income People with Disabilities

Mumbai, May 2020: Theatre for a Cause (TFAC) – founded by Vandana Munjal of Hero Electric, Radhika Bharat Ram (Joint Vice Chairperson of The Shri Ram Schools) and Ritu Rae Chandra (Theatre Director and Producer), has started a TFAC challenge to ‘Sing, Act, Dance, Recite’ a song from any English musical, be it a play or a movie to support the Blind Relief Association and feed people with disabilities. They are doing their bit of paying it forward by raising funds to feed the lower-income people with disabilities affected by the pandemic. They have also launched a fundraiser Milaap to raise Rs 10 Lakhs to support the cause.

An individual will have to upload a video before May 18 and tag TFAC (theatreforacause_ #tfacchallenge and #challengeaccepted), and for every video, TFAC will give ration to feed a family of four for one month.

TFAC aims to feed 1000 such families with this initiative. This campaign is being routed across social media channels and has witnessed an immense amount of participation from not only people of India but across the globe who have been singing and performing in their native languages to show vibrancy and unity to this promising campaign with no hidden advantages but to make a difference to someone’s life.
