New Delhi, January 7, 2020: Delhi based non-profit NGO, Sunaayy Foundation, has been working to improve the lives of lesser privileged children for over a decade. Since 2018, it has been supporting over 450 such souls. Most of its centres are situated in Delhi.
With no respite from the biting winter cold, children from the economically-challenged backgrounds are facing a tough time keeping themselves warm and cozy. Sunaayy has been confronting and dealing with this for years now. Through various forms of donations and support in cash and/or kind, it has taken care of protecting the children from the harsh winter by giving them the necessary winter-wear to protect themselves.
This year, however, posed a heightened demand for Sunaayy. With the number of children phenomenally growing in the last couple of years, getting a cover for all of them was a big task. On a recent informal visit to Sunaayy Foundation’s Delhi Centre, Qualcomm came offering help to relieve these children from the cold weather.
Richa Prasant, Founder of Sunaayy Foundation said, “We are delighted by Qualcomm’s gesture and we are thankful to all those personnel representing the multinational for taking time out from their busy schedule to do something for these children to make their lives easier and more comfortable. We wish more success and power to such organisations, and we hope they will come out to the forefront more often to help these social causes.”
