Blood Donation Camp by Fortis Hospital and Rotary-TTK Blood Bank

Bangalore, May 13, 2020: On the occasion of International Nurses Day, Fortis Hospital Cunningham Road, in association with Rotary Bangalore-TTK Blood Bank, conducted a blood donation camp with an aim to tackle the shortage of blood units.

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a decline of blood donation at the blood banks due to the lockdown. In order to meet the requirements of the TTK Blood Bank, employees from Fortis Hospital, Cunningham Road consisting of doctors, nurses, medical and non-medical staff voluntarily donated 54 units of blood.

We at Fortis believe in extending our care and services by meeting the medical requirements for anybody in need.
